Who won the debate?
Wed Oct 15, 2008
My husband and I both noticed the EXACT same thing. I believe you're correct on this one. I'm not sure it was the intent of Schieffer or not. But yes, absolutely that was what we found as well.

Uhhh, what than do you call a 700B bailout of the banking industry? I believe that was Bush whom asked for that, NOT Obama! Nice try. This type of unfounded and simply untrue tatics may have worked for you in 2004. "Be afraid, be very, very afraid" Sorry dude, it won't work twice.

I will be happy to answer. The Democratic congress does NOT have a "Congress that has a veto-proof majority" but we do hope they will get one is this next election.

I agree, my husband and I both noticed it. I even asked him, "What is your impression?" He said he seems (McCain) really angry. I agreed. However held back my personal observation as not to sway his answer, but right on the mark I believe.

This description sounds a lot more like McCain than Obama. Are you sure you didn't make a mistake and put in Obama's name when you meant to say Mccain? I think you must of. As you just described Mccain here fairly accurate, not Obama.

His beliefs? I believe he is a Christian ....you know , like most Americans. Although I agree with those who have said that a persons religion has no real place in politics in the first place.

No matter what any of these comments say, there is ONE FACT that no one can get around. That fact? We all better get use to saying "President Obama" and that is a good thing imo.. :)

It was NOT Obama that swore in on the Koran, it was a democratic congressman. Obama is a Christian and did in FACT get sworn in on the BIBLE! Get your facts straight. I and the rest of the country are getting tired of these unfounded and simply wrong statements from the right!

Clearly Obama is 3 for 3. McCain seems unaware and angry. Obama is always very Presidental looking and always keeps a cool and even temperment. McCain needs anger management! Seriously! On issues, Obama 100%.
